Ladies AB&C Project

 

The ladies AB&C project was run by local historian Lil Brookes and took place in partnership with the Disability Resource Centre, Glasgow Museums, Glasgow Women's Library, National Library of Scotland and Renfrewshire Council. The group looked at the achievements of Jane Arthur, Mary Barbour and three wives of the Coats family. 

 

The provost of Renfrewshire Lorraine Cameron gave the project a civic reception at the UWS Paisley campus and an outline of the aims and objectives was filmed by local film company Media Monty.  You can view their film on our Facebook page.
